How long do I have to send in my trade-in device?

You have 15 days from the date you receive your new device to send your trade-in device. Trade-in shipping labels are typically emailed to you 2 days after your new device ships.
If your trade-in device isn't shipped within the window, you'll be charged the amount of instant trade-in credit you received, plus applicable taxes, back to the payment method used for your original order.

Where to Find Your Trade-In Shipping Label
Samsung Trade-In
Your trade-in label can be found in 3 places:
In the box. A printed label is included in the box your new order arrived in.
In an email. The label is attached to your trade-in welcome email.
Online. Sign in to the My Orders page, find the order with the trade-in, and select "Print Label" under "Trade-in Program."
If you don't see the option to print a label, then your new device hasn't shipped yet.
Carrier Trade-In
A label for carrier trade-ins won't be available on the My Orders page.
Follow the carrier-specific trade-in instructions in your Shipping Confirmation email.
Carrier trade-in instructions will differ from Samsung's own trade-in process.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is my device considered shipped?
The date you bring it to a UPS-authorized Ship Center, not the date it arrives at Samsung's trade-in facility.
Hand the package to a representative at the ship center rather than leaving it in a drop box, and keep your receipt and tracking number.
What if I miss the 15-day window?
You'll be charged the amount of instant trade-in credit you received, plus applicable taxes, back to the payment method used for your original order. This is called a trade-in chargeback.
